失去记忆的谷原臧从森林中醒来，深入到与世隔绝的宗教学校，与八位性格各异的女孩一起工作。
女孩们看似相谈甚欢，但随着一个人的失踪，上吊、纵火、分肢、自杀……一桩桩触目惊心的连环杀人案逐渐揭开面纱。
但目的只是为了找到凶手吗？
真相沉入沼泽，叫做爱情的救赎。
本游戏为全中文配音，共有九个角色，两个结局。它还从肇事者的角度提供了额外的情节补充。
游戏包含多种选项，分为“普通选项”和“结局选项”。
“正常选项”以白色字体显示，会影响玩家收到的故事线索，但不会改变结局。玩家可以自由地返回并探索所有选项，以充分了解游戏情节。
“结局选项”以红色字体标注，将决定故事的最终走向。建议回去尝试不同的选择，体验不同的结局。
此外，游戏还有“返回文本”功能，以蓝色字体呈现，可以让玩家返回到之前的选项分支点，以便选择能够提供更多线索的“普通选项”。
游戏剧情没有恐怖元素，适合各年龄段玩家；但调查过程涉及对真实尸体的血腥和露骨描述，可能会造成身体不适。在进入调查之前，我们会询问玩家是否选择跳过（跳过不会影响关键信息的获取）。
正确使用倒带功能可以让玩家在一场游戏中体验整个剧情并收集所有CG。
当玩家完成所有结局和CG收集后，游戏就会以加害者的视角开放内容，完成整个故事。
请注意，某些选项可能存在多个分支，请在寻找缺失的CG或剧情时自行判断。
